Description
This original vintage demo contains a handful of songs performed by Dino Valenti in Greenwich Village coffeehouses in the historic "folk era" of the 1960's. His style influenced a number of artists that were to follow, including David Crosby, Richie Havens and others. Recorded and personally gifted to seller by Dino Valenti in Greenwich Village in 1962, this original, acetate demo was recorded by Dino prior to leaving for California, where he went on to write hippie anthem "Get Together" and become a founding member of San Francisco psychedelic rock band Quicksilver Messenger Service. This monaural record has lots of pops, hiccups, hisses and scratches that might be cleaned up with professional studio equipment. For collector only; not for commercial use. I do not own any performance rights or copyrights on any material contained in this recording. I have had it for many years and am ready to pass it on for its historic and artistic value to an appreciative collector.
