ARTIST: Chatman Brothers

TITLES: Jumping Out Blues / Please Don't Give My Love Away
CONDITION: V+
DESCRIPTION: The Chatman Brothers (Lonnie and Sam) from their one session in 1936. Mississippi Sheiks style fiddle and guitar with Sam on vocals. Visual wear is rub/mold rather than groove stripping, and music clear with quiet surface. From the Ken Swerilas collection. Has a Sam Chatmon (the real spelling of their name) scratch autograph on label only visible under direct light. Sam and Ken met in 1961 and were friends until Sam died in 1983.
