Description
This record grades about VG+ condition..This is one of a couple famous West Coast NORDSKOG discs which was bought up and relsabeled by Kid Ory when Nordskog failed to give him credit on the Nordskog label under his name... Technically, the Sunshine labels can be seamed off or soaked off and the Nordskogs will appear below...but why would one do that???? Beats me...The story of this item appears in Brian Rist's label book. Only a small amount were thus distributed..One of the Rarest West Coast Jazz Records.. Although the B label of the Sunshine was pasted on both sides, the originals are correct.
.Where does he find these treasures?
These are my grades ,E-,VG++,VG+,VG,VG-,G+......Highest to lowest for 78s.I only use E or E+ when the record looks new and unplayed or perfect.E- or indeed VG++ are very close to perfect and will be more than satisfactory to discerning collectors.
All 78s will be packed between 4 cardboard squares and boxed professionally with insulation to guarantee safe delivery.

It is conceivable that the members of Kid Ory's band ,or Kid Ory Himself actually glued these labels on...as mad as he was.
Reverse side is "Ory's Creole Trombone" and if the Sunshine 30003 labels were removed, Nordskog 3009 with both sides correct would be apparent.See Rust's Jazz/and or label book for details.
