A Collection of Beatles Oldies’ Stereo 1966 -MINT

This copy of “A collection of Beatles Oldies” is in mint condition - everything - cover, inner sleeve and vinyl itself. I don’t think you will find a copy in a better condition. It has been listed as New as it is a pristine, mint and unused item.
This vinyl compilation album was released in the UK in December 1966 and features all the hit singles and other songs issued by the band between 1963 and 1966.
The compilation served as a stopgap release to satisfy the record company’s demand for a release during the Christmas period. It fell between the release of Revolver in August 1966 and the Revolver follow-up Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band which the band was still recording.
It was the band’s first official greatest hits collection - although the Beatles apparently hand no involvement in compiling the album.
The Collection of Beatles Oldies also offered fans the ‘debut’ release on an album for a number of the band’s singles, although those songs had previously been available on compilation EPs.
It was also the debut release in stereo for those recordings so it can be seen that this would make a great addition to your Beatles collection. It is a rare beauty as the album was deleted from the Beatles’ catalogue following the reissue of their albums on CD in 1987.
The cover is in pristine condition, no tears or dirt and is very shiny and the title is easily read on the edge. Inside, the sleeve is white on both sides and clean with no tears.
The vinyl itself has no scratches or marks. The centre labels are pristine - no spindle marks on label. Have a look at the photos and see fr yourself.
