I am continuing to downsize my audio/video collection.  I hope to eliminate all but ten desert island discs, tapes, etc.  Eventually, I'll be doing this with all of my reel to reels, records, cassettes, DVDs, and CDs.  I find it difficult to part with some of these items, but it is that time of my life to let go.    

    This is a fantastic RARE compilation of Beatles tunes, produced by George Martin on the EMI label.  As far as I know, it is the only compilation type vinyl recording of original Beatles songs from 1963-1966. This is a pressing on the EMI label.  Be sure to inspect other listings carefully for where it was mastered and whether it is mono or stereo. This is very collectible.  I recently transferred this vinyl to tape (AKAI 747) and it is in superb shape, always remaining in my smoke-free and climate controlled home.  
    This same album (Stereo) in a sealed condition recently (9-11-16) sold on eBay for $400 + $4 for shipping.  An opened, but in good condition copy, was sold on eBay (9-9-16) for $165.93 + $13 for shipping.  I am selling mine at NO RESERVE for $27.50 opening bid with a BIN price at $36 and free shipping.  I would just hope the buyer is someone who will appreciate this special recording.      Again, this not the mono version.  The stereo soundstage on this is great!      A protective plastic sleeve for the jacket is included.

     Don't let the low opening bid scare you. I have started all my auctions at giveaway pricing and ended up receiving a fair price for all of them (see my Completed Listings).  The most important thing for me is that the items find a new appreciative owner.

     Look for blockbuster and classic laserdiscs, many sealed, in my other auctions!  Upcoming additions will include mint Disney Boxsets, numerous ANIME, movie Boxsets (Star Wars, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, etc.), The Compleat Tex Avery, plus so much more. Bottom line is that I will never have the time to watch (many, even once) these unopened mint laserdiscs. Instead of donating them to Goodwill and getting a tax write-off, I want them to go to people who will appreciate them... either as a collectible or as something enjoyable to watch (and listen).  If you have a request for a classic, hard-to-find, or any laserdisc in particular, email your request and I'll put it up for auction, if I have a copy.
