? LISTEN to this piece of reggae history -Two cuts of Bleechers 'Ease Up' Perry

My apologies to those who already own this record........

Forget about the artists' name credits on the label. Originally on the Tiger label in Jamaica as 'Shortwave' / 'Superior'

Why is this record important? The rhythm is the original to the Lee Perry 1969 production of 'Ease Up' by The Bleechers but this was remixed in 1969/1970 by the engineer - possibly Lynford Anderson (Andy Capp) - at Dynamic Sound to make this ground-breaking record.

So what's the significance? The mixing board was their MCI which was later sold to King Tubby via Bunny Lee so if you listen to the multitrack mix here you can hear similar sounds to those obtained later by Tubby in the mid-1970s.  Unfortunately for Dynamic this style of mixing didn't catch the public mood in 1970 so it was left to Tubby to turn remixing into an art form 3 or 4 years later using the same MCI mixer in his home in Waterhouse.

See scan for label condition.

Vinyl is shiny but has lots of fine surface scratches and looks visually a grade VG with nice clean labels

? Please listen to the sound files so you can hear the condition then make your own judgement of the grading so that you will be happy with your record.

Please do not pay until an invoice is sent, as I need to adjust postage to make it a fair charge for both of us. I am happy to combine postage for more than one record.
