Description
SHIPPING DOMESTIC ; $ 5.00 EACH ADDITIONAL $ 1.00 IMTERNATIONAL ( NEW RATES AS ON JAN 17 SORRY ) ; FIRST 2 RECORDS $ 23.00 EACH ADDITIONAL $ 6.00. this band SKIN DEEP who released this one and only album back in 1972 where a powerful force, what a killer power trio they where, in the early 70s there was another great band out of switzerland called TOAD who released a few albums that where about as good as this one but honestly this was probably the best record out of that country in the early 70s, these guys where very tight and had a very heavy edge to them ( think budgie) and there is not all that much else known about them. If you like 70s hard rock then this belongs in your collection as this is a phenomenal record . Sadly this band was another band that never got past one lp, if you could find the original swiss lp from 1972 im sure it would cost a fortune, anyway this is for fans of bands like BUDGIE, TASTE, TOAD, VIC VERGET,UFO,NAZARETH AND EVEN THIN LIZZY. this is truly a hard rock underground classic. AMAZON has a copy for $ 281.00. DISCOG has 3 copies for $316, $ 384, and $ 1009 After Shave were a heavy trio formed in the late 60s and influenced by Cream, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin and the usual suspects. They toured Europe in the early 70s and eventually recorded this debut album for the tiny Splendid label in 1972, which now commands big dollars on the rare record collector market. They have been featured in a few books, including The Hard Rock Anthology 1968-1980, Encylopedie du Hard Rock des Seventies and the Hans Pokora books.
