A superb very clean and glossy NEAR MINT condition thick MONO vinyl and MINT condition E.Jay.Day matt gatefold sleeve.
This is Al Stewart's second UK album and it is near impossible to find as a UK MONO first pressing, this album is far rarer in MONO than his excellent 1967 UK debut album 'BEDSITTER IMAGES'.
This superb very rare 1969 MONO Acid-Folk album contains the unmistakable sound of Led Zeppelin's brilliant lead guitarist Jimmy Page, page plays some really excellent lead guitar on most tracks and also helping out are some early members of UK Folk-Rock band Fairport Convention.
MONO VINYL = NM
The vinyl is visually in excellent++/NM condition as both sides look extremely clean and very glossy and free of any bad marks or scratches at all, this album plays a superb top excellent throughout, the sound is in glorious warm MONO and is brilliant and crystal clear from beginning to the end, both sides actually look and play very close to brand new, you won't find a better MONO copy than this one on offer here, in fact you probably won't find another MONO copy...FULL STOP!!!
MONO CBS LABELS = NM
Both orange CBS labels are in near perfect near mint condition, there are just a couple of light spindle traces on each side, this album has only ever had a few careful plays in 37+ years and has been extremely well looked after indeed.
E.J.Day MATT GATEFOLD CARD SLEEVE = NM
The matt gatefold sleeve is made by E.J.Day.Co and is in MINT- condition, it really is just about perfect and looks brand new and is free of any storage wear, the record slips into the inside gatefold and not the outer edge, i also own a early stereo pressing of this superb album that does not contain the sleeve text stating that the cover was made by E.Jay.Day so this text only appears on the very earliest first pressings.
ORIGINAL INNER SLEEVE
The original white paper inner sleeve is also in excellent very clean condition with some light creasing, the sleeve has done a brilliant job of protecting the vinyl over the past 37+ years.
To sum up this is a incredibly rare UK MONO 1st pressing in very near new looking and playing condition that will not disappoint...GUARANTEED!!!
