Alice Cooper
'Billion Dollar Babies'
Warner Brothers, France, 1973
56 013
THERE IS no getting away from it - the Alice Cooper Band were on a massive roll at this time in their career. It seemed like they could do no wrong as every album was systematically better than the last and Billion Dollar Babies is no exception. Just look at the song selection including 'Elected', 'I Love The Dead', 'Sick Things', 'Hello Hooray' and the title track itself - it's like a greatest hits album!
This is a hard to find original pressing on the Green Warner Brothers label, with the cardboard inner lyric sleeve, diecut postcards intact and the original huge folded dollar bill! Most copies I've ever seen have always had the bill missin and the post cards removed.
This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.
Pressing: Warner Brothers, France, 1973 - Green label

Impossible to find like this after 42 years. Grades as MINT-!
