ALL SAVED FREAK BAND Christians Elves And Lovers LP Rare XIAN Psych JESUS MUSIC.
Here is a copy (1st pressing, I think) of Christians, Elves and Lovers, by the All Saved Freak Band, kind of a pioneering group in the genre of Jesus music / Christian rock. The record is from 1976.
It's original, not a reissue. Put out by Rock the World Enterprises. In addition to heavy Jesus content, this one is also heavy J.R.R. Tolkien content. So—yeah, pretty unique.
The songs range from hippy-folk to psychedelic and even acid rock, all with that Tolkien + Jesus content in there. Yeah, for real.
I'm not a dealer, so I'm taking a guess (and also being very conservative) by saying the record and sleeve are in Very Good condition. I've played it exactly once: the sound is very good—probably better with a cleaning—no skipping, scratches, warps or other damage. The sleeve is also in very good condition, as you can see in my photos. Included is the original insert lyric-sheet / commentary.
Rare LP from a strange band. Surprisingly listenable, to top it all off.
