Incredible recording from 1979 of Alvin rocking the thin wire.
Beautiful gatefold - jacket has an almost silkscreened feel.
This is a top 5 (true) minimal music / drone classic.
Very slight ringwear in spots.

"Music on a Long Thin Wire" was commissioned in 1977 by Donald Funes for the Live Electronic Music Ensemble of the Crane School of Music, State University College of New York at Potsdam.
The composer wishes to express his appreciation to John Fullemann and Douglas Simon for their help in making this work and to Ned Sublette for his assistance in preparing this album.
These recordings were made by the composer on May 10, 1979 in the Rotunda of the U.S. Custom House, Bowling Green, NY City.
