ANBAR “Ya Allah Terham Min Bala Webtala” 45 (Bouzaidphone/Kuwaiti ORIGINAL!!)
Beautiful single by this classic singer from Bahrain, who was active until the 1960s. One interesting thing about this record is that it is slated for Salimphone, the Bahraini record label that was owned by Omani singer Salim Rashid Al Souri, even though it is clearly released here by Bouzaidphone. Perhaps this is a reissue of some earlier material? The fidelity certainly suggests an older recording, perhaps from the 78 rpm era. Still a lovely tune either way. Real Gulf Arabic folk!

Condition: Record is VG with moderate surface noise and crackle, punctuated by some louder pops. Sound is a bit distorted throughout, though that may just be the recording itself. Please check the soundclip carefully.
