I'm proud to offer one of the most rare Classical music box set ever made. The records were seldom played and the labels do not show any spindle mark. Only record no 3 has a light needle mark on track B1. Please read the description carefully to get more information about the visual and audio grading of these rare LP. I have cleaned each side 3 times with a professional machine and cleaning liquid.

Last but not least I would like to mention that all LPs come in a comapny sleeve (see photo) and the original plastic inner sleeves (with the Ducretet Thomson pirnts) are also included but not on photo as it's limited to upload 12 photos in total.

The Booklet: Looks like never really opened but the front and back are a little warped, no writing, dog ears etc... = ex+

The Box: The front & back do look very nice (no scratches on front or back) with no price tag etc. But the lower left corner got a kind of shelf wear (on the photo it looks worth as in real) with no splits (no hole) = EX

The records: General information on shape and pressing; The LPs are visually in a very nice shape with no or only a very few hairlines, but with one exception on record no 3 which has a light needle mark which I can't feel or almost can't feel, nothing deep at all (more information see below). The original plastic inner sleeves are a in perfect shape and the labels do not show spindle marks. With focus on that we can be sure that the LPs are seldom played. Since the LPs got some dust over the years (but no sticky or ugly dirt) I have cleaned each side 3 times with a special liquid made for record cleaning. Since the vinyl quality is not that good (French 50ies pressings are known for a not perfect playback) the LPs do not sound that well as maybe expected up on a visual inspection. I don't know if there are any perfect playing copies availabel. According to my researches the groove noise-problem comes with every copy. The items do not look as they would have been played wet. I have partially played the LPs for audio grading with a stereo cartridge and I switched my amp to "mono". Maybe the LPs do sound better with a special mono cartrdige, I don't have.

Record no 1: Visually the vinyl is NM (according to my grading scale = ex+). Due to the groove noise-problem the playback quality is between EX and VG+, and at the beginning on side 2 we can hear a few tics.

Record no 2: Visually the vinyl is NM (EX+). At the beginning of track A1 is one small mark which tics around 7 times and there's one light bubble which is hardy recognizable when we listen to the music. Audio graded it's about vg++ to ex (or ex to vg++).

Record no 3: Visually the vinly is NM (ex+) with the exception of track B1 (please reed above): The light needle mark on track B1 cuases a few light tics. The overall playback quality equals to ex to vg++ (or vg++ to ex).

Grading of my items are very strict (please check out the feedback), I use a very strong light not to overlook anything - I want you to be happy with your purchase.

Mint: Vinyl and cover are in 100 % perfect condition.

M-: Vinyl and cover are “as new” (maybe vinyl has 1 – 3 ultra light hairlines which are only detectable under a very bright light and do not affect!!!, maybe virtually perfect).

EX+: Vinyl and cover are almost “as new”, cover appears in great shape – vinyl plays perfect (vinyl has maybe a few hairlines from removing the vinyl out of the inner-sleeve) – great collector’s copy!!

EX: Vinyl has some hairlines or is optically not as EX+ with maybe a light scuff but no scratches, vinyl should play very well to perfect with no pops etc. just virtually (under the halogen bulb!) not mint. Cover has light wear, appears still nice.

VG++: The vinyl has an amount of hairlines and/or some light scratches without deep-marks. If it’s a “loud” record it will still sound almost mint…. A still acceptable shape which does fit well for DJ use and home-listening. The cover has maybe a price tag, small splits or ring-wear… it’s still ok but a little used.

VG+. The vinyl has maybe an amount of hairlines and/or some light-scratches or a few not too long and not very deep needle-scratches… will maybe play with some crackling in lower parts and/or with some pops could. Cover has combination of price-tag, some writing, ring-wear or another one. Used condition.

VG: The vinyl is very used with many scratches as well as deep-marks, very used condition. Cover has maybe complete top and bottom-seam-split. Only worth to buy if really rare….
