ARCHIE SHEPP LP Four For Trane Impluse Mono A-71 Export Pressing?

Description

Label: See photo, vintage mono pressing but no RVG in run-out and in small print on label it states "Pressed For OR By A Registered User." On the inside gatefold there is an import sticker for a jazz store based in Johannesburg, South Africa. The gatefold cover seems to be a standard US first press cover, so not sure what the "OR" on the label refers to. Lay-out and typography of the label is obviously different than the standard US mono label. This version not listed on Discogs.

Record Grade: Nice VG+ with light sleeve scuffs. Sounds great. This LP has been VPI-cleaned and stored in a new audiophile-quality innersleeve.

Cover Grade: Excellent, gatefold cover. Missing original Impluse innersleeve.

Note: Please see my other auctions this week for more rare hard bop and modal jazz LPs! Shipping within the U.S. is $5 for the first LP and FREE for any additional (media mail). Priority mail option is $10. International first class mail is $20 for 1-2 and $5 per additional, up to 4 pounds. Canada is $16 for 1-2 and $4 per additional. Packages worth more than $700 will be sent priority mail with signature confirmation.

Grading:  I grade conservatively on a scale of NM, Excellent, VG+, VG, VG-, G.  Images sell!
