This is the original Deep Groove Microgroove LP Vinyl Album from 1957!
The very first pressings were often issued for promotional purposes to DJ's &/or radio stations. As pictured the cover & label are stamped with "Sample Record" Not for Sale".

On Aug-07-13 at 06:48:08 PDT, seller added the following information:The thick cardboard cover is in very good condition as pictured, solid & firm with no splits and has some shelf wear on the edges and spine, mostly on the top & bottom seams and a corner bump top right. The vinyl looks and sounds excellent, very clean & quite remarkable. Up close under a bright light & tilted at an angle there are a few ultra faint tiny brush or sleeve type superficial surface marks, very minor nothing physical or audible. The record is kept in a Mofi style sleeve separate from the cover in another plastic sleeve.Â
