AZALEA RECORDS was another one of those lost Southern record companies that never received much attention during its life despite a pretty consistent output over seven years (1954-1961) and 33 known releases. Azalea started in Mobile, Alabama ("The Azalea City"), moved to Houston, Texas and finally wound up in Dallas.
