Description

This vinyl LP record by Al Hirt titled "Our Man In New Orleans" is a must-have for any jazz music collector. The record features Hirt's signature on the original cover, and the autograph is dated 2/8/63! The record is in good condition and plays at 33 RPM. The sleeve is in very good plus condition and the inlay is in excellent condition.


The record is a first pressing from 1963 and was produced by Steve Sholes. It features Al (He’s the King) Hirt and His Orchestra and was conducted by the legendary Marty Paich. The record label is RCA Victor and it is a mono recording. The genre of the record is jazz and it is in the 1960s Dixieland New Orleans Jazz style. The record size is 12 inches and it is made of black vinyl.


This record has been tested. And plays well all the way through. Such a nostalgic sound! Like a cross between the movie “Chicago” and being on Main Street at Disneyland!
