If he only knew . . . how much better he could accept his worm- hood!’’ Then we look at the tiny seed sown in the garden and wonder if there’s any way that little ugly germ could know that someday it will be a bright coloredflower swaying in the breeze and looking toward the sun. “Oh, if it could only know!’’ we think wishfully. Perhaps it is impossible for the caterpillar or the seed to know the wonderful plan God has for them. But we, human beings, created in the very likeness of God, should have it within us . TO KNOW! And yet we live and act as discouraged and beaten down as the worm or the seed . . . thinking that all there is to life is this earthly ex- istence . . . sometimes exciting and sometimes dull and dreary! And all the time we see Jesus, revealed in the Bible (and confirmed by that “SOMETHING’’ within us), who shows us what God really has planned for us... love, peace, happiness, purpose, right thinking, and with no limit (for all eternity) as to what God (and His universe) has for us to explore and know ... if we’ll just “Go At life’’ like Jesus teaches. The songs in this album hopefully will encourage and inspire you to allow God to help you become your “Best Self’ now — and then your best for all eternity. God is not ever going to give up on you because . . HE KNOWS!. . . and once YOU know . . . YOU’LL never give up either. The song we wrote, “I Never Lost Sight Of You’’, was inspired from a simple story from the Ken Cutler Family of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Ken, his wife, Carol, and their three children, Cathy, Dave, and Shelley have been our friends since the mid 1950’s. Several years ago little David Cutler (just a seedling) was suddenly changed into a beautiful full bloom . . . a soaring butterfly in God’s Eternal Home. His bout with Leukemia was over and both God and David had won. Ken and Carol (Cathy was too young to know at the time and Shelley was not yet bom) went through some dark times of not knowing, doubt, darkness, and uncer- tainty . . yet, still searching. It is to them, Ken and Carol Cutler, that this album (and especially the song “I Never Lost Sight Of You’’ and the poem, “Ode To A Cater- pillar’’) is dedicated. For now . . .
