I consider it a privilege for me to be afforded the op- portunity to write the liner notes on this album for the Coffey Family. All of them are dear friends of mine, and I have learned to love and appreciate them a great deal since our first meeting in October of 1972. I have come to know the Coffey Family as people who are simple-down to earth dedicated Christians, and people who love to sing for the Lord. The popularity that this family has gained over the past several years, due to their own self styled gospel singing, has not altered their personalities in respect to making them proud of (hemselves. Any of you that know this family as I do realize that this unaltered dedication is due to the fact that the Coffey Family has found a reason for which to sing. When souls are moved to accept the Lord as their personal Savior as a result of hearing this family’s recording, we can be sure that they have found favor in the eyes of the Lord and he is using them to his own glory. I have personally witnessed the recording of this album, and I truly believe that it is one of the best this group will ever record. It contains some of their most requested songs as well as some of the newer songs today. As you are listening to this album as it plays, you will have a greater appreciation for the talents of this group if you bear in mind the fact that they sing because they have found a reason.
