Description
Up for auction is a 1927 Allen Brothers Country 78 on Columbia D label # 15175-D.You don't see this one come up too often for sale.I,ve only seen a few on E Bay the last several years.The songs are titled salty Dog Blues on one side and has Bow Wow Blues on the other side.Bow Wow Blues side has some very light to light scratches with 4 scratches I can feel with fingernail.Looks to also have some very light and light scuffs and 1 rubbing spot.If you look closely it has a small very light dimple spot near right side of record.Some groove wear but still has alot of groove shine.The Salty Dog Blues side has some very light and light scratches with 4 scratches I can feel with fingernail.Has some very light and light scuffing and a couple light rub spots..Near right side of record there is a 1 inch extremely light lam near edge of record that will not affect play at all as it is so extremely light.Also has 2 extremely light 1 1/4th inch lams from label to last part of song that both are also extremely light and will not affect play at all.Also near left side of record there is 6 very light lams about 2 1/2 inches from label through about the last 2/3rds of song.These are all very light and will not affect play at all.Has afew small groove pits that can be felt with fingernail and some very tiny groove pits as well.Some groove wear but still has alot of groove shine.Nice looking 78.If the buyer is not 100% satisfied I have a return for refund on all records I sell.I,ll be listing some more very nice Columbia 15000 series 78s.I also combine multiple 78s to save on shipping.I only have Priority shipping boxes so Unfortunately I cannot ship Media rate.My Apologies.I do Apologize.It should cost between $10.00 and $12.00 Priority shipping or so I believe.I also refund any excess postage if there is any.
