Description

Amon Duul II Wolf City 1972 FIRST U.S. PRESSING Vinyl PROGRESSIVE/Art Rock Psychedelic German KRAUTROCK United Artists

This is an original 1972 US vinyl pressing of this sought-after progressive rock classic.

The gatefold cover still has the shrink-wrap, having never been opened. There is some wear on the top right corner, (where there is no shrink-wrap). There is also some on the other corners where the shrink wrap has been worn through over the decades. There is also a slight bend of the upper-right corner.

Visually, the vinyl appears to have been rarely played. Has some slight scuffing, (likely as a result of being removed from it’s paper sleeve) on the edge of side 1, but is, otherwise, in close to near mint condition.

I play grade this as EX+ on Side 1. The beginning plays with some surface noise evident, especially in the quiet soft passages and during the intro, but is not egregious.

Side 2 plays perfectly with little or no surface noise.

No skipping or major scratches or pops. I’d play grade it at EX+.

There is a slight warping to the vinyl that does not affect play.

I've tried to document as much as possible in the attached photos. I have taken more specific photos of the aforementioned flaws, so if you need to see them, please feel free to contact me.
