For sale is a classic piece of 90s intelligent techno and ambient history: the "Liquid Insects" maxi-single by Amorphous Androgynous, the legendary side project of Garry Cobain and Brian Dougans of The Future Sound of London (FSOL).

Released in 1993 on Astralwerks, this 12" is a stunning display of their signature sound—a hypnotic, sprawling journey through complex rhythms, otherworldly soundscapes, and deep, immersive atmospheres. The A-side is dedicated to the epic title track, while the B-side features the equally brilliant "Mountain Goat" and "Sky-Scraper." This listing includes the original branded Astralwerks die-cut outer sleeve, which is in fantastic shape.

Condition Breakdown:

Vinyl: VG (Very Good)
Sleeve: VG+ (Very Good Plus)

Vinyl (VG): A solid Very Good player's copy. The vinyl shows some light surface marks, scuffs, and hairlines from use, as is expected for a VG record. There are no deep, feelable scratches. I have play-tested this record, and it performs well. There is some light surface noise and occasional crackle, most noticeable in the quieter moments, but the music is powerful and sits well above it. It plays through confidently with no skips or jumps.

Outer Sleeve (VG+): The original Astralwerks branded die-cut sleeve is in great Very Good Plus condition. It is clean and sturdy with sharp edges and minimal wear. There is only very light signs of handling and no major flaws—no seam splits, writing, or tears. It has protected the record well and looks excellent.
