Description
Folkways 3824, “Arbee’s Blues” with Arbee Stidham, vocal and guitar; Memphis Slim, piano; Jump Jackson, drums; from 1961. The record and cover are NM. There is virtually no background sound, and the cover show no signs of wear or aging other than two minor corner bumps. The descriptive notes are enclosed and in excellent condition. Songs are “Good Morning Blues”, “Falling Blues”, “Blue and Low”, “Misery Blues Calypso”, “My Baby left Me”, “In the Evening”, “Walking Blues”, “I’ve Got to Forget You”, “Standing on the Corner”, “Careless Love”, and “Tell Me, Mama”. Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $8.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $20.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, and Australia; elsewhere inquire. Additional LPs in a single package are $1.00 per LP domestic, $2.00 elsewhere. For overseas shipments, I strongly recommend registered mail for $12.00 extra. Many old records are now practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be caught in a postal conveyor belt and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window with no damage to LP or jacket. More than two LPs may be mailed together in a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped. All used LPs are play-graded on a VPI turntable with Audioquest tonearm and Grado cartridge.
