History/review:
Another killer album although somewhat different than what they had done previously. As the MK II line-up had dissolved , everything had to be re-started from scratch ( these constant break-ups will undermine Vincent Crane's health as he was already depressive and will remain until his death ( suicide? ) in the late eighties. For this album , he managed to convince the immense voice of Chris Farlowe ( fresh off the break-up of Colosseum) to join up along with a bunch of lesser known musos (and still no bassist). The album is usually found with a different American cover as the British cover was made out denim tissue ( and is now very expensive in the collector's world) .Of course the music will take a new twist with such a powerful (soulful) vocalist but will remain truthful to Rooster stand arts. Shall we say that the music was slightly more funky hard rock and this album will make frequent calls to an excellent horn section for about a third of the tracks on here. They will even use strings on the killer Stand By Me . An excellent rock album without a doubt .
Denim sleeve hand made with thick fabric material. Only a limited issue as so expensive and time consuming to make. Amazing conception and think the only sleeve to be manufactured in this way.Incredible album cover in near mint- condition. All sewn edges perfect. No rips tears. Hardly ever seen. Sleeve concept by Mike Gill Assoc. Machine stitching in parallel to edges. No fraying and lightly handled. Very fresh and clean. ONLY a very few issued and HIGHLY COLLECTABLE!!!! Do NOT miss out on this extremely scarce release !!
AUDIO
Absolutely amazing mixes with so many different forms of instrumentation. The orchestration includes viola, violin, french horn and strikes a definitive contrast against the Hammond organ,electric piano,synthesiser and guitar strings. Recorded at Trident Studios, London. Audio channels are sensational providing an excellent aural delivery, with little to fault. Beautiful tones and will not find better !!!

Complete with insert, displaying a photo of the group. Excellent condition with corners very sharp and pointed. An age spot perhaps observed .
An incredible presentation of a very scarce and highly desirable album release. One for the serious collector. Almost impossible to find now especially in this condition. True investment quality.
