You know you're a true hardcore audiophile when: You have a pristine copy of Pawnshop and you're not even a jazz fan.
This recording has been a reference record for decades. For tone and timbre fans it offers astonishing tonal fidelity. When my friend got Klipschorns it was the first recording played.
It has uncanny imaging. It was the first record I listened to that defined "holographic imaging." When I finally got speakers that floated an image it was the first record I put on.
Each instrument has a discrete place in space. I could hear the air reverberating around each instrument. In between each instrument was a silent "dark space".
Imagine a hologram with orbs floating in it. You can see the orbs in three dimensional space. You can locate them horizontally, laterally and in depth. Now replace the orbs of light with orbs of sound floating in space.. That's what this recording sounds like.
Non-audiophiles could point thier finger at each instrument coming from there. But how could the drums be coming from behind the rear wall?
On top of that my Jazz fan buddies tell me it's very listenable jazz.

Two record set.
This record was played one or two times on a Rockport table / arm / Grasshopper cartridge combo before putting on Ampex tape.
To be conservative I will rate it at Mint-. No sign of play. It plays like new. IMHO no record which has been played can be called mint.
The cover is mint- A bit of wear at top center that could be "fixed" with a felt tip pen.

International shipping rates can be found at the United States Postal Service website.
A packaged single record will weigh between 1 and 2 pounds, so use 2 lbs for postage calculation.
Standard shipping is by International First Class Mail. Insurance is not available in this mail class. If you wish the shipment insured, consult the USPS website.
A charge of $5 will be made for completion of the International paperwork.
