Description

Augustus Pablo - King Tubbys Meets Rockers Uptown
***** ORIGINAL ***** Original FIRST PRESS
Clocktower Records USA
This is the DADDY of them all....
THIS is the LP that Horace Swaby saw in the US of A on a trip there in 1976. THIS is the LP Augustus took home and "Bootlegged" (his own tracks), adding ONE more song (Satta Dub) and a label on the sleeve with his name on (to cover the Clocktower logo).
[Please note: the sleeve is NOT a "cut-out", that's just wear (it's 50 years old!) and I have housed the LP in a polylined sleeve for it's comfort.]
THIS is causing me pain even writing these words to persuade YOU, dear collector, to buy this record from me. For YEARS this was my "Holy Grail", but now LIFE forces the sale (you can hear the violins can't you?)
A REAL slice of history ready for your collection.
The photos are of the actual real 100% genuine FIRST PRESSING of the BEST DUB LP of all time.
Thanks for looking.
