 For  sale is a mint  ( and I do mean MINT )    copy of the  soundtrack  album by The Beatles    for their classic  movie  Yellow Submarine.  Though  this image is lifted from the internet  -  the copy  for sale  is still  sealed  in plastic  and   comes complete with   the EMI       SPECIAL LIMITED EDITION IN  COLOURED VINYL   sticker  - adhered to the front.  For anyone seriously into The Beatles  this is an opportunity to accquire one of the very few copies  you will see  STILL  in pristine condition -  20 = years AFTER it was released.  I have kept one   for me to play but I have to part with this one.

For thoise not familiar with the history of this album - it was issued as The Beatles  had initially been  engaged in a  contract to  make  4  movies -  Help , Hard Days  Night , The Magical Mystery Tour   and    that left this one -  The Yellow  Submarine.  Devised as an  animated cartoon   there was a glitch with the  songs as  The Beatles  had     supposedly reached a point of   having  met their obligations and  thus  - to the rescue  came the producer extraordinaire - Sir George Martin -   with an orchestra. On the second side   he and the orchestra  perform and  the pieces  are for the score  -  which he composed  especially to  fill in   the  movie. In all it is a brilliant album.  I am certain I have a n image of the actual  cover and it is a very nice piece   with the sticker. ( Still sorting out the computer - sorry )

It should be pointed out this is different to the  UK yellow vinyl issued  justa  few yers back  - and  this was actually issued in 1987  to celebrate the  20th anniversary of  its initial release in Australia and subsequent release on cd.  ( They also  did  Sgt Peppers   ( there were  2   different pressings  on diff colours and    variation - some on gatefolds  ) and .. The White album . I should point out a copy of this album recently sold  on Ebay for over 250  Australian dollars ,  THIS COPY IS SEALED   -** MINT  **- and as such is  ideal for the pefectionist collector   who speciallizes in labels ,  variations and  colours. I have  loved the music of The Beatles -  collective and solo   for over forty years    but for someone  - this represents an ideal opportunity . Sorry  folks  I do not have a  spare white  album or a  red  Sgt Pepper's   so please  save  those questions.  . I am listing it at a high price as I only have ...  ONE that is sealed.  Thanks  for looking and Happy Beatling - oops  I mean bidding !!
