Description
The BEATLES. “GREATEST HITS, Volume 2”. From AUSTRALIA. This song list also ONLY from Singapore, same as with Volume One!! NO other countries!! This Volume also has 14 Early Beatles Hits from 1963-1965. All are pre-RUBBER SOUL Songs! It has Nice Beatles cover with same cover photos as US Capitol album BEATLES ‘65. This is a set of Beatles “early” Greatest Hits on an album first issued in AUSTRALIA in 1967, on PARLOPHONE. But this is a 1980s reissue with Orange labels!! This LP contains about 6 songs rarely chosen as Beatles HIT songs, such as BOYS, I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER, ROCK AND ROLL MUSIC, and ANNA plus several others!!! Titled BEATLES GREATEST HITS, Volume 2. This version appears to be from about 1984 issued on the later Orange Parlophone Labels. Of the 14 songs, 10 are from Lennon-McCartney. The songs mostly come from previous Singles, issued in UK and Australia in 1963 and 1964 and 1965! None are from later than WE CAN WORK IT OUT. 10 songs come from various Australia Singles. This one is produced by George Martin. Fantastic, as always!! The cover photo attracted me to this record immediately!! And the vinyl is graded Goldmine EX, my highest grade for opened items!! It appears UNPLAYED. No spindle marks, Fully shiny and NO writing! Very Clean! Photos 1-6 are the item for sale, other photos just for fun!! I started collecting worldwide Beatles various Greatest/Best Hits albums 20 years ago. I am starting to sell them off. I doubt EMI / Odeon will ever reissue these unique vinyl LPs again, so getting a copy under $100 is a Now or Never proposition!! Additional rarity hits here are: I SAW HER STANDING THERE, TWIST AND SHOUT, and LOVE ME DO. And my favorite from this batch, ALL MY LOVING. SORRY, No super rare fantastic 5-beat Hi-Hat Cymbal intro count in on this All My loving!!! Only on Euro Beatles Greatest Hits Albums and Beatles World’s Best LPs!! This LP is an Amazing conglomeration of interesting songs!! Of course every song is a classic, even today, over 50 years later. And 11 songs on this LP were originals written by Lennon McCartney. They all still sound so fresh, with Incredible energy from the Boys as they attack your ears with superb melodies and harmonies! This is a beautiful record, quite wonderful sounding! This LP is well kept and in plastic sleeve since its purchase by me in 2015, I quickly learned to handle them as little as possible, especially one of these Beatles International compilation reissues which I thought would become rarer and greatly treasured!! Read more on “45cat”, my favorite worldwide discography site. Trying to price it is guesswork. A couple others are up for sale on EBay, check them! I guess the market will tell me what this is worth! This one is Super nice! You decide!! See images, actual sale item, photos 1-6. Seller is 50+ year collector and keeper of all things Beatles related. Shipped with USPS Media Mail and Global Shipping Program. All purchases ship together for $5 total. So browse for others. Price reduces weekly till sold!! Who else does that??? Best to all!! Questions?? Beatle Lew.
