PLEASE READ FIRST!
I'm having to make this even clearer as people are still buying records I'm grading low and as a 'collection filler', and then complain about the audio quality when they try to play them. As I VISUALLY GRADE my records I cannot guarantee that discs will be click, skip and noise free (although any marks that may cause such problems will be highlighted in the description). If you're looking for a copy to listen to then please look elsewhere.

Complete Original MONO Pressing!
This listing is for a very rare, original MONO copy of the Beatles double LP 'The Beatles', more commonly known as the White Album. This copy comes complete with it's original poster, four photos and black sugar paper inner sleeves.
By 1968, when the White Album was released, mono was fast becoming a dead, obsolete format. Prices for stereo records and players had dropped considerably and was by far the more popular option. The Beatles White album was the last Beatles album to receive a dedicated mono mix (the Yellow Submarine mono release just had folded down stereo) and, as such, many songs have differences to their stereo counterparts. Some minor, some very noticeable!
Because of this, and because of how poorly the mono copies of this album sold back in 1968, the original mono release is hugely collectible!
This set is complete and contains both discs in their original black inner sleeves, all four photo inserts and the poster.

The sleeve is looking its age but, overall, is holding up with no splits or tears or anything. There are some creases in the laminate around the edges as you can see in the photos below but, overall, nothing serious or major. Inner Sleeve Condition The inner sleeves are in EX / VG- condition. One inner sleeve is holding up very nicely with no splits or tears whatsoever, has minimal wear along the mouth edge and is prodominently flat with just a little disc impression and light creasing in the corners. The other inner sleeve overall looks the same but there's a 2" split in the middle of the bottom seam, and two small splits just starting to open on either side. Inserts Condition The photos are in EX+ condition. The photos are very clean and have no damage.The poster is in VG+ condition. The poster is looking decent but the spots where the creases cross are looking a little fragile. But the poster looks clean with no damage, splits or tears.
Disc Condition(VISUALLY GRADED) The discs are in EX/EX condition. Both discs have a lovely, clean shine to them and look seldom played. There's just some light scuffing here and there - nothing at all nasty or serious looking. Really nice, clean condition for their age! Label Condition The labels are in EX- condition. Both labels are nice and clean with just a little spindlewear and a touch of whitening around the centrehole. Nice labels!
All records have been visually graded under a strong, 125W natural light desk lamp.
Records are posted out tracked and insured (where applicable) to comply with eBay and PayPal seller protection policy.

All LPs will be mailed out in a strong, corrugated cardboard LP mailing box with the LP outside the sleeve and extra
sheets of corrugated cardboard will be used where applicable.
My Vinyl Grading:
MINT No true preowned disc can be mint. The highest I will ever grade a disc is NM+/M- if it looks untouched and unplayed, but the MINT description will only be for records I personally know have never been played (i.e. I personally bought from new) or for copies that are still sealed. NEAR MINT (NM) For discs that look near flawless and which may have just the slightest, barely visible little whispy marks here and there. EXCELLENT (EX) For discs that still retain a brilliant, clean shine but does have some light scuffs here and there. VERY GOOD (VG) For discs that still look clean and have a nice shine to them, but do have a fair amount of light scuffmarks and/or some light scratches. GOOD (G) For discs that look like they have been loved and have a fair amount of scuffs and surface scratches. Not in terrible condition, but would look like it would play with a lot of crackle. FAIR (F) For discs that may have some life left in them but are pretty trashed with numerous surface scuffs and heavier scuffs and scratches etc POOR (P) For discs that are unplayable and look completely trashed. Discs like this would only ever be offered if they were insanely rare.
