Description
A great opportunity to buy a VINYL LP from the 1960s by The Beatles called "A Collection Of Beatles Oldies".
This is a U.K. FIRST pressing released in 1966 on the Parlophone (black & yellow) label (PMC 7016) (mono) and has 16 tracks (see photos for track listings).
The matrix numbers in the dead wax are:- XEX 619-1G (side one) and XEX 620-1G (side two).
The vinyl is in a clean and shiny VERY GOOD condition. I always examine and grade records under a bright table lamp and although there are some light hairline surface marks evident, I have played both sides in their entirety and they both play absolutely fine and sound great.
The labels are clean and free from any writing, stickers or major defects. Only a few spindle marks are noticeable on both sides, when tilted towards the light.
The record is flat and has no warps of any description.
The record is housed within an original plain white inner sleeve in a VERY GOOD condition.
The Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd front-laminated, flipback picture cover is in an EXCELLENT condition. The edges and spine are still very strong, with the printing on the spine clearly readable (see photo). There is a slight hint of ring wear and light creasing of laminate in a few places. The back cover is still remarkably clean.
This is a highly presentable Beatles LP and should be of interest to avid collectors.
