RARER E. J. DAY COVER!
1964 1st Mono UK pressing on the yellow and black Parlophone label.
"The Parlophone ...." text on the label rim, "Sold in the UK text"
and "Recording first published on labels.
Cover: Excellent+. This is the much rarer E J Day 1st pressing cover which is laminated on the front (unlaminated rear) with the flat rear triple flip-backs; and the 1st pressing mid-size MONO text on the front cover. No writings/doodles or seam splits - which is amazing as most Beatles records from this era have some writing/doodles or messages on them. Slight wear to corners only. You will find it hard to get a better one than this - see photos.
Inner sleeve: Emitex poly-lined inner sleeve is Excellent.
Labels: Excellent. KT tax code.
Vinyl: Play tested. Looks Excellent with a few light hairlines. Plays Near Excellent to Excellent. No skips/jumps. Light background crackle on the run in, between tracks and in quieter moments. Hardly noticeable during tracks. A real testimony to the durability of these UK first pressings.

Gradings.......
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc
Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
