1964 UK Parlophone PMC 1230 Mono LP with Front Laminated flipback Garrod & Lofthouse Sleeve

Complete with Original Emitex Liner Sleeve

A very interesting label variation - If you look at my pictures 9 and 10 below , you will see labels with the usual label typeset and layout - If you look at pictures 1 to 8 , you will see that my copy has very different typeset layout , most notably Side Two .

Note that nearly all copies of the album have the Side Two track listing in a 'tight column' - On my No1 picture you can see that the Side Two label has the track listing broadly spread !

Side One label on usual copies have the track listing beginning just beneath and along from the 'Songs From' typeset - On my picture No3 you will see that the track listing begins almost beneath 'Songs From' ! The track listing print on my copy also has smaller print ....

Also note that the label matrix number print is 'offset' on my copy , and the 'PMC 1202' print is also 'thinner' ....

The disc has some signs of use evident .... there are several marks present .... mild label use , light spindle sheen .... The disc plays through quite well , although there is some noise in some areas , mainly between tracks : The Disc is Graded sensibly at GOOD to VERY GOOD condition.

The Sleeve has mild use .... bright and clean .... just a few small , minor wrinkles .... nice spine and edges .... the rear panel has light ageing , quite clean .... nice tight flips : Graded at Near EXCELLENT condition.

All items are graded Audio / Visually , and played on a high grade system

Please feel able to bid with confidence , as a collector myself I understand the requirements in the gradings of discs and sleeves , and how important it is to recieve items in the condition as advertised

I grade items ( using the UK Record Collector Grading System) beneath a light , to be sure of condition

I do not believe it is necessary to use the eBay buzzwords such as STUNNING !! RARE !! AWESOME !! , padded out with grossly long winded 'descriptions' ..... Many of the 'experts' who use this method of selling also add technical information , which is totally unfounded and does not correspond with the actual facts , and would be laughable but for the fact it is totally misleading. I take time and care to graded items correctly , and only list quality records , with concise , accurate grading descriptions

I have been a lifelong music fan , my first concert visit was in 1957 (Birmingham Town Hall Skiffle Contest !) and have bought records of all the great music since 1959 , and had the privelege of seeing most of the great artists 'live' ( I saw The Beatles twice and Segovia !)

I began selling professionally in 1976 , and have a wide knowledge of the items I sell (and always learning !) having bought copies of my own at time of issue , always being interested in the sleeve , label and disc variations. If you have any queries , I will do my best to answer correctly

The discs are placed seperately from the sleeves within the package to avoid splitting or damage . Items are sent promptly - usually within one working day of payment .
