1st Pressing Matrix Numbers
This album was not released in the UK in this format. This is a very rare 1965 Canadian stereo vinyl pressing on the 'rainbow' Capitol label, with a 1st pressing heavy duty gatefold cover.
The cover and tracks are completely different from the UK and European LP 1st pressings. In this 1965 Canadian release, Capitol Records selected 7 tracks from the UK album "Help" and added additional instrumental music tracks (by George Martin and The Beatles) from the original "Help" movie itself - which were not available on other releases of this LP.
Most of the first pressings of this Canadian LP were sold in Mono - stereo 1st pressings are much rarer. It also comes in its original Capitol inner sleeve which was printed in English on one side and French on the other - for the Frech speaking population of Canada.
Vinyl: Looks to be Very Good+. Lovely sheen - 4 or 5 hairline scratches on Side 2.
Inner sleeve: Mint.
Cover: Gatefold 'pasted' unlaminated stereo cover is Excellent+. Lovely condition for a 45 year old cover - nice clear spine, no writings, doodles stickers or seam splits. Pasted covers are notoriously fragile but this is super.
Labels: Original 'rainbow' labels - later pressings were purple. In Near Mint condition.

Gradings......
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and more significant scratches.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc
Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
