Help! 1st Press STEREO
Firstly a bit of history of the album.....HELP was the BEATLES' 5th album coming out on the 6th August 1965. The premier of the album was played in London on the 29th July. Once again reaching the top spot in all record magazines of that era...as they had done with the previous four albums!

Matrix Number Side 1: YEX 168-1
Matrix Number Side 2: YEX 169-1
Mothers/Stampers Side 1: AL @ 3 O'clock 1 at 9 O'clock
Mothers/Stampers Side 2: AT @ 2 O'clock 3 at 7 O'clock
Vinyl: VG++.I grade this as such due to some hairline marks and a couple of scuff marks, but nothing to affect playback...Still flat, with shiny vinyl and still sounds great!
Labels: VG. Some spindle marks but only visible under bright light. "MT" tax code to side 2. Outer text "The Gramaphone Co.LTD" it DOES have the "Sold in the uk.." text. The one downfall is the slight wear to the central holes...please see picture...This is the ONLY problem.
Cover: VG. Still bright, a little grubby to the back. Strong corners and strong spine, NO WRITING ANYWHERE!!! As you can see in the picture, there's a little spidering to the laminate, but not a great deal. The largest problem to note is a cellotape repair to the bottom seam of around 12cm. The flipbacks are in good, strong condition.
It has the RARE STEREO OUTLINE in the very top right corner.
Inner: NM. "Made In England" and "Patent No. 1,125,555," die-cut.
Overall; A lovely example of an increasingly rare STEREO, PARLOPHONE version of the HELP! Lp...1st PRESS
'Mint' means I have just stepped out of the record shop in the 60's, never opened the record and kept it in fantastic dry and warm condtitons...unlikely isn't it!!
