On offer here is a VERY rare single (especially in this condition!!!!) called "Love Me Do" by The Beatles and is a UK 1962 1st pressing on the 1st Press Red Parlophone label!!!! The B side is called 'P.S. I Love You'. THIS SINGLE IS MASSIVELY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS SINGLE HAS STUNNING LABELS AND IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION!!!! IT IS ALSO ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS EVER - WITH 1/G 1/O MOTHER & STAMPER CODES!!!! THIS IS THE 1962 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS RED PARLOPHONE LABEL, 'FIRST PUBLISHED TEXT', AND 'THE PARLOPHONE COMPANY' EDGE TEXT IN UPPER/LOWER CASE, A 'PT' TAX CODE, AND 1ST PRESS PARLOPHONE COMPANY SLEEVE!!!! THIS SINGLE IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND AND MASSIVELY RARE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! The matrix numbers are 7XCE 17144-1N & 7XCE 17145-1N. The mother and stamper codes are 1/O & 1/G (MEGA early stamper codes - and BOTH from the first mother)!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK Parlophone 1st Pressing on the 1st Press Red Parlophone label and the Cat No is 45-R 4949. Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!
The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The record is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! Most of these 60s singles had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This record is NOT and has NO scratches, only 2 or 3 MEGA light TINY hairlines, and only a few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is GREAT to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, and only some VERY slight background sound/crackle on the run on grooves!!!! There is NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!! This single must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Parlophone Company sleeve!!!! THIS IS ONE OF THE VERY 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSINGS OF THE BEATLES FIRST EVER SINGLE AND IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!! IT IS ALSO IN BRILLIANT CONDITION AND MASSIVELY RARE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
