Buy with confidence - please check my feedback!
If you want this record then please get your bid in soon, don't wait until the last minute. Otherwise, you'll forget to bid, or the phone will ring, or you'll be stuck in traffic on your way home from work............I know, I've been there myself and lost a few items I dearly wanted!
This rare record is offered at a low starting bid with no reserve! This is a rare UK mono first pressing, with the alternative withdrawn mix of "Tomorrow Never Knows". It also has "Dr Robert" printed on both the label and on the sleeve rear. Released on Parlophone, catalogue no: PMC 7009, comes in a front-laminated, flipback, Garrod & Lofthouse "Patents Pending" sleeve. The matrix numbers and stampers are as follows:
- Side 1: XEX 605-2, stampers 5/GT
- Side 2: XEX 606-1, stampers 3/RD
I am not going to ramble on unneccessarily with impressive words and phrases (punctuated with far too many exclamation marks!) to try to make this LP more attractive, this LP should easily sell itself on its own merit. Its condition is accurately described below, and the photos are truly representative. If you need more pictures, then please ask and I'll try and add them to the listing. Remember to check my feedback for your own peace of mind!
CONDITION:
- Vinyl: VERY GOOD PLUS - Lovely clean vinyl, with some very faint hairline marks, and a couple of tiny scratches which make an occasional very light background "pop", nothing serious. Generally it plays great and sounds superb! There are very few spindle marks on the labels, I doubt if it has been played more than a few times. Unfortunately, there is a name "Pauline" written in ink on the side 2 label, not very obvious but it is there (see close-up picture below).
- Sleeve: EXCELLENT - Lovely condition sleeve, with just a handful of very tiny 1cm light creases around the edges. There are a couple of small crescent-shaped creases to the front sleeve, caused when removing the LP from the sleeve, not obvious and only noticed when viewing the sleeve angled to a light source. There are no splits, no tears and no unwanted writing.
I generally follow Record Collector's grading system but please see my "ME" page for a fuller description of my gradings. The pictures below were taken by me and are of the actual item for sale - they are not copied from other sources!
