BEATLES UK, Sgt Pepper, UK 1969 one EMI box stereo record labels LP.
PCS 7027, UK 1969 black and silver One EMI box stereo Parlophone record labels.
A UK 1969 stereo LP, featuring:
1. a more unusual sleeve as the two top, ‘flip backs’ are ‘deeper’, measuring 19mm in depth.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent+ condition, the sleeve is fully laminated. The spine is in near excellent condition, it has remained clean, white and straight and most of the text on the spine is clear to read. The four opening edges are in excellent+ condition and have remained clean and sharp. When the ‘gate fold’ sleeve is opened the two original top, ‘flip backs’, ie fold over edges can be seen. There are NO tears, pen writing, splits, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.
THE INSERT: is in excellent condition and is the original ‘dark’ green colour, ‘cut out’ insert. There are NO tears, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the insert.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in excellent+ condition and is the original red and white period 1969 EMI advertising inner sleeve. The two opening edges have remained clean. There are NO tears, splits, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve.
THE RECORD: side one is in near MINT condition, when viewed under normal, ‘daylight’ conditions. Side two is in excellent++ condition. The record is made of the original 1960s quality period, ‘thick, heavy’ vinyl. The record has remained very dark and glossy.
The matrix are: YEX 637 - 1 and YEX 638 - 1,
The mother / stampers are: ‘3 GLD’ and ‘1 GLH’.
THE AUDIO: each side plays near MINT, with excellent ‘silent’ grooves. The record lays flat on the turntable.
THE LABELS: each label is in excellent condition. Each label is free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.
TO GRADE THE CONDITION OF THE RECORD I AM USING THE OFFICIAL GRADING SYSTEM FROM THE ‘RECORD COLLECTOR’ MAGAZINE.

BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVES, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
