CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in excellent++ condition. The sleeve is fully laminated. This laminate has remained very glossy and relatively free from any ‘scuffs’ or indentations. For its age the sleeve has remained an excellent clean, fresh white in colour, in fact this is one of the best condition sleeves I have seen for a long time. The corners have remained clean and sharp for their age. On the front it has an embossed Beatles logo and a unique individual SERIAL number of No. 0461608, this number appears very clear and bold. To the rear there is a small printed ‘Stereo’ logo, proving this to be a genuine STEREO sleeve. This again unusually appears very clear and bold, as this ‘important’ text often gets virtually rubbed away over time, but on this copy it is remarkably dark and clear. The spine is in excellent++ condition, it has remained a clean ‘white’ in colour and all the text on the spine is clear to read. The sleeve features two visible flipbacks when the sleeve is opened, these flipbacks are all excellent and well stuck down. When the sleeve is opened it is very glossy, clean and tidy. The rear of the sleeve is also very clean and glossy. There are NO splits, tears, stains, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.

THE INNER SLEEVES: are the two original ‘apple’ black inner sleeves and have not been replaced. One sleeve is in near excellent condition, with a small 5mm ‘nick’ to the front opening edge and a small ‘nick’, 5mm around the ‘die cut hole’ and some slight splitting to the two side edges and to the bottom edge. A well preserved, crease free sleeve. There are NO tears, pen writing or cellotape repairs etc. The other sleeve is also in near excellent condition, there is a small 5mm ‘nick’ to the left, front opening edge and a 5mm ‘nick’ to the right, rear opening edge and a 20mm tear to the rear, right opening edge. A well preserved, crease free sleeve. There are NO splits, pen writing, sellotape repairs etc.

THE POSTER: the poster is in excellent++ condition. The poster has remained crease free and an excellent clean white in colour. The folds are all excellent with no wear or splits. Theres NO pen writing, sellotape / residue / repairs, pin holes, blue tack residue, tears, splits, stickers or sticker residue. There is some light age related marks, here and there.

THE PHOTOS: the four photos are in MINT condition. An excellent fresh set of photos with mint clean rears and clean white borders. Theres NO pen writing, pin hole damage, sellotape / residue, blue tack residue, tears, stickers or sticker residue.

THE RECORDS: side one is in excellent++ condition, looks almost like new !, side two is in excellent+ condition. Side three is in excellent condition, looks almost like new and side four is in excellent++ condition. The records are made of the original 1960s quality, ‘thick, heavy’ vinyl.

The matrix are: YEX 709 – 1, YEX 710 - 1, YEX 711 - 2 unusually a ‘2’ matrix ! and YEX 712 - 1.

The mother / stampers are: ‘ 4 A D’, ‘ 4 L G ’, ‘ 1 G D L ’ and ‘ 4 G G H ’.

THE AUDIO: side one and two plays excellent++, with excellent quiet grooves, a near perfect audio. Side three and four plays excellent+, with relatively quiet grooves. Each side plays with an excellent clear, full, loud period stereo sound, an excellent playing copy. Each record lays flat on the turntable.

THE LABELS: sides one and two are in MINT condition, sides three and four are in near MINT condition. As this is a very first UK issue, labels one and three feature the original DARK green ‘apple’ colours. Each label features the text ‘Sold in UK’ etc and the text, ‘An EMI recording’. Each label is free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.
