Description
The BEATLES WHITE ALBUM MONO PMC 7067/68 No. 0057314 FIRST PRESSING! Released November 1968 in the UK.
Excellent Condition Overall! COMPLETE with original die cut black inners, 4 Photos, Poster and the RECORDS are without “AN EMI RECORDING” on their labels.A nice collectible copy of the last Beatles LP mixed in MONO! And it's a good lowish number, under 60,000!!!
COVER: Top Opening GENUINE MONO (no Stereo written on the back) with No. 0057314 in a good strong grey stamp, still clearly visible. Overall EXCELLENT condition, although it has a 6 cm scratch mark on the front laminate. The inside is very clean and the flipbacks are still strong and the 8 mm spine is still proud with minor laminate cracking. Obviously it has suffered a bit of fading and wear over the years but not too bad at all.
RECORDS: XEX 709/10/11/12-1. Both records are without “AN EMI RECORDING” All sides look relatively clear and have a good strong sheen with minor surface marks and spindle wear. On audio playback I would grade Sides 1 & 2 as EXCELLENT (minus) with just a bit of crackle audible in quiet spots but no major scratches or nasty pops! Sides 3 & 4 are EXCELLENT (PLUS) great audio no distractions at all, just an occasional click.
Side 1 label has had a name written on it in small letters but has almost faded, side 2 has a slight embossing mark on the top of the label which is only visible when tilted towards the light, you would really have to look hard to notice these slight label imperfections on sides 1 & 2. Sides 3 and 4 are just about perfect.
The original black die cut inners are also in EXCELLENT condition with just a slight paper tear on the side with the hole cut. The sides are generally strong and only one small rip on one side was apparent. You will see a lot worse!
The poster/lyric sheet is also in EXCELLENT condition, just a few creases but unripped and looks like hardly opened!
The four photos are unmarked and are in near mint condition.
