The White Album LP by The Beatles MONO PMC 7067

This ***1st Pressing*** MONO Double Album is on the Dark Green Apple label with 'Sold in UK...' and 'Made in GT. Britain' label text. The Vinyl Discs come in the ORIGINAL Black Inners, and are housed in their OriginalSUPERB ***TOP OPENING*** Laminated Garrod and Lofthouse Gatefold sleeve. The sleeve has the LOW NUMBER ***0032467***!! This is the FULL PACKAGE including the picture poster/songsheet and pictures of the FAB FOUR.

SLEEVE

The ***TOP OPENING*** Garrod and Lofthouse Gatefold sleeve is in the creamy white of the ORIGINAL 1st Issue. There is virtually NO creasing or ringwear. The two flipbacks on the inside are perfectly secure, but some of the laminate down the inside edges of the flipbacks is slightly worn. The sleeve comes in a protective polythene outer cover, and is graded ***EXCELLENT+*** .

INNERS

The ORIGINAL Black Inners have just a bit of creasing and ringwear. Ther are no real tears, just a couple of nicks at the centre holes and record entry pints. I would gradethese as ***EXCELLENT*** .

LABELS

These are the Dark Green Apple labels, with the 'Sold in UK...' text. Sides 1 and 2 have virtually NO centre hole scuffing and VERY MINIMAL spindle wear. My grading of these is ***EXCELLENT/NEAR MINT*** . Sides 3 and 4 are graded ***EXCELLENT*** .There is a slight stain to the left of the apple core on Side 3, and a bit of centre hole scuffing on Side 4.Both have a bit of very light spindle wear.

INSERTS

The pictures of Paul and John are ***NEAR MINT*** . The pictures of George and Ringo are ***EXCELLENT***, having a couple of light marks on the backs. The Picture Poster/Songsheet is the ORIGINAL thick paper type. This has just a couple of light tears at the folds, and a few brown marks on the songsheet side. There is NO handwriting. This grades as ***EXCELLENT*** .

I have viewed ALL FOUR sidesin VERY STRONG sunlight. There are just a few very light hairlines and a bit of paper scuffing visible. On Side 2 there is a bit of grease marking. All four sides are grade as ***EXCELLENT+*** .

AUDIO

The MONO sound is AWESOME!! The Mono version of the album is slightly different from the stereo version in that it's a bit faster.

Side 1 is graded as ***EXCELLENT*** . On 'Dear Prudence', thereis just some soft crackle audible here and there. Other than this, there arejust a couple of soft clicks on 'Glass Onion' and 'Bungalow Bill' . The fadeout on 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' is lovely and QUIET!

On Side 2, there are some soft clicks and crackle in places - a few more noticeable on 'Julia'. My grading of this side is VERY GOOD.

Side 3 is graded***EXCELLENT*** . The sound quality is GREAT! There are just a couple of soft clicks and a bit of crackle in places.

Side 4 grades as VERY GOOD. There are a few soft clicks and crackles, more noticeable on 'Revolution No. 9'.

There are NO jumps or skips on any side.

I am privileged in having very sensitive Hi-Fi equipment which shows up any slight flaw, so I feel that I am able to grade records accurately.
