RARE!! Beatles “WHITE” album LP. Original 1968 UK.
STEREO!! Very earliest FIRST PRESSING!! Late KT tax code Side 4!!!!
“White Album”. ***Number.0537335*** (NEAR MINT).
Up for auction is this rare original STEREO White album, with a late KT tax code on side 4. This is rare for such a late stereo pressing. The making of this album reportedly brought about the demise and eventual break-up of the band.
This album has of course been played and shows some extremely minor indiscretions both to the outer cover and the vinyl. BUT, I must stress that these anomalies are only slight and the sounds are quite superb. I always strictly grade my albums. Check out my strict grading below.
COVER: Quite superb!! Not the usual discoloured and battered versions you often see. Virtually faultless with just a couple of very minor laminate wrinkles. Brilliant condition!! Rear of cover shows the ‘STEREO’ logo.
VINYL: Just a couple of faint wispy trails on one disc which does not affect the superb quality of play. No heavy or ugly stylus marks. Definitely nothing feelable. The best I have seen. All four sides still retain their just pressed glossy sheen and are perfectly flat with no warps, skips or jumps. SUPERB!!

INNER SLEEVE: Both are very, very good. Couple of odd nicks at top openings. No side splits. Otherwise intact. These inners were notoriously difficult to keep in anything like mint condition. But what you get here are far, far better than most I have seen.
AUDIO: Excellent sounds from these superb STEREO recordings. No skips. No jumps. Just superb Beatles at their very best. Brilliant.
To sum up. This album is NEAR MINT and would definitely grace any collector’s existing collection. The sounds are superb and truly classic. Most definitely Collectors Quality.
