On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by The Beatles called "Yellow Submarine" and is an INCREDIBLY rare UK Stereo 1st pressing!!! HOWEVER THIS IS A VERY SPECIAL STEREO 1ST PRESSING AND IS THE VERY EARLIEST 1ST PRESSING OF THIS LP WITH A DIFFERENT COVER!!!!  THIS EARLIEST 1ST PRESSING HAS A 'BLANK' BOTTOM FLIPBACK' AND A TOTALLY DIFFERENT COLOUR COMPARED TO MOST STANDARD 1ST PRESSINGS!!!!  ONLY A HANDFUL OF THE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSINGS WERE PRESSED LIKE THIS AND IT IS EXTREMELY RARE!!!!  YOU WILL NOTICE FROM MY COMPARISON PICTURE (the RAREST 'blank' bottom flipback cover is on the top and normal standard cover is below) THAT THIS COVER HAS NO FLIPBACK CREDITS AND THE BOTTOM FLIPBACK IS COMPLETELY BLANK!!!!  OF COURSE - LATER COVERS HAVE THE USUAL 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' CREDIT AND A PATENT NUMBER - BUT FOR SOME REASON THE VERY VERY EARLIEST COVERS WERE LEFT BLANK!!!!   NOT ONLY THAT - BUT IF YOU LOOK IN MY OTHER COMPARISION PICTURE (the RARE 'blank' flipback cover is on the left) - YOU WILL NOTICE THAT THESE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSING 'BLANK' FLIPBACK COVERS ARE A TOTALLY DIFFERENT COLOUR TO THE STANDARD 1ST PRESS COVERS!!!!  FIRSTLY THE BACKGROUND TO THE COVER IS A 'CREAM' COLOUR ON THESE EARLIEST 1ST PRESSINGS (STANDARD 1ST PRESSINGS ARE 'WHITE'). BUT SECONDLY AND MOST IMPORTANTLY THE 'HILL' ON THE FRONT OF THE COVER IS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT MUCH 'LIGHTER' GREY ON THIS EARLIEST 'BLANK FLIPBACK' 1ST PRESSING - WHEREAS LATER ONES ARE DARK GREY!!!!  ONLY THE VERY EARLIEST 1ST PRESS COVERS HAVE THESE IMPORTANT DIFFERENCES AND THEY ARE EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND!!!!  DONT UNDERESTIMATE THE RARITY OF THIS EARLIEST 1ST PRESSING!!!!  IT IS MASSIVELY RARE TO FIND ANY OF THESE 'BLANK' COVERS WITH A DIFFERENT COLOUR!!!! NOT ONLY THAT BUT THE COVER IS IN STUNNING CONDITION, THE RECORD IS OF A VERY HIGH STANDARD AND THE BLACK INNER SLEEVE IS IN STUNNING CONDITION!!!!  SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS EXTREMELY RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is an ORIGINAL Stereo UK 1st Apple Pressing, and is VERY hard to find indeed!!!! What denotes an ORIGINAL 'earliest' 1st pressing is the 'Sold in the UK' text, the DARK Apple label, Red lines ABOVE & BELOW the rear sleevenote on the cover, a BLANK bottom flipback and the Black inner sleeve. The matrix numbers are YEX 715-1 & YEX 716-1. The stamper codes are VERY EARLY - 2 (with a 4 below it)/AD & 1/GT!!!! This LP is VERY hard to find these days AT ALL - let alone in decent condition!!!! The Cat. No is PCS 7070 on the ORIGINAL Dark Apple label (see picture) and is a stereo 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Beatles at their best!!!! Any fan of The Beatles, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection - especially in this condition!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing and only a few light spindle marks!!!! The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!! Most of these LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and looks like a NEW record!!!!  Under normal room conditions and even under light the record looks AS NEW and shines with SUPERB gloss and shine!!!!  When I first accquired the record my first impressions were of a Mint record - but after searching under extreme light you can see a few VERY light hairlines, but there are NO scratches, and only a very VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under EXTREME light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!! THE RECORD STILL HAS A 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO nasty loud pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, and NO nasty constant crackle!!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must strictly grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL black inner which is STUNNING condition with NO rips, NO tears, NO splits and it is wonderfully flat looking!!!! The MEGA RARE 'Blank' FLIPBACK 'earliest' 1st Press Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!! LOOK AT THE PICTURES - can you get much better???? It is STUNNINGLY flat looking with NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear, only a VERY few light creases and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO grubbyness, NO wear, virtually ZERO yellowing, and NO writing!!!! The MEGA RARE cover must grade FULL Excellent if not Excellent+!!!!  THIS IS A BRILLIANT EXAMPLE OF THE VERY EARLIEST 1ST PRESSING OF THIS RARE LP WITH SOME VERY IMPORTANT DIFFERENCES!!!!  DONT MISS THIS MASSIVELY RARE LP!!!!
