Description

BEST PRODUCTION:
Randy Newman
SAILAWAY –
Warner MS-2064 Gatefold –
Factory Sealed

If ever there was a song writer who performed his own stuff marvelously, it is Randy Newman on this 1972 release of SAILAWAY.

Marshalling large back-up forces, Randy delivers impeccably on SAILAWAY, LONELY AT THE TOP (which he wrote for Frank Sinatra), LAST NIGHT I HAD A DREAM (with Ry Cooder on guitar), OLD MAN, and the wry SIMON SMITH AND THE AMAZING DANCING BEAR, among others.

A troubadour tour- de-force, with great sound to boot, here factory sealed. No cuts, and not a bar-coded issue.

For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.

Shipping and handling is $5 for up to 5 LPs shipped within the States. Internationally, $15 via airmail for the first LP, $3 each thereafter. (Canada is half that.) Boxes over 4 lbs., add another $6, because First Class is no longer available at that weight, just Priority Mail. Note, too, boxed sets of LPs require more postage.
