Big Brother & The Holding Company- Cheap Thrills, SEALED COPY! KCS 9700 (on spine and front), 1967.
Cover has nice crisp corners, tiny shrink split on lower right front cover and one on left corner, over the Made In The USA text, although no damage to the corner!
Beautiful vintage R Crumb illustration with no ring-wear or imperfections, as new!
As far as I can tell (and I've looked at a lot of Capitol records!) there is no way to tell whether this is a pre or post 1970 pressing without opening it to examine the labels and matrix numbers, as they used the EXACT same covers, down to the paper stock. The 80's pressing of This LP switched to a different catalog number PC 9700, so I can't guarantee the exact pressing/labels within this sealed copy but I can guarantee a MINT, early edition with a MINT cover (which have become maddeningly hard to find).
