Beautiful copy of the 1961 Bill Evans Trio masterpiece "Waltz for Debby" on original Riverside Stereo deep groove RS 9399. STILL IN SHRINK!

Bill Evans, Scott LaFaro, and Paul Motain recorded these cuts on June 25, 1961. The album was the last of four from the group as Scott LaFaro died in a car accident just ten days after the recording session at the Village Vanguard from which Waltz for Debby and its predecessor, Sunday at the Village Vanguard were taken.

Jacket has the 235 West 46th Street / New York City 36, New York, address. Deadwax has RLP-12-9399-A and RLP-12-9399-B.

   CONDITION:

   • I have listened to this entire lp and it sounds fine on my vintage Sansui SR-737 turntable with a tracking force of 1.5g. The disc is still bright and shiny with some very light scuffs. Paper around the spindle hole on the B side is fine. A side shows just a tiny bit of white around the spindle hole. There is no writing, tape, scratches or other markings or additions to the labels or vinyl.
   • The jacket is in its original shrink wrap. A bit of shrink is missing at upper left corner which shows just a little wear. Front and back graphics and lettering are beautiful. There is one approximately 3/16" white spot at about middle of left edge. This may be a factory imperfection or a mark perhaps caused by a fingernail.

   This is one of the best copies of this jazz masterpiece that you can find.
