RARE MONO LP BY BILL EVANS
PORTRAIT IN JAZZ
Description: Here's my personal copy of Bill Evans PORTRAIT IN JAZZ---Riverside RLP 12-315---Mono, with Bill Evans, Piano,Scott LaFaro, bass, and Paul Motian, Drums; Recorded in NYC, Dec 28,1959. liner notes by Orrin Keepnews; The vinyl LP has only been played a few times, and kept in the original sleeve; I'm no expert on grading LP's, but I have listened to it through before listing it, and there are no skips or notable scratches. I haven't attempted to wash it to reduce any residual noise but the LP looks cosmetically very good; The cover is slightly scuffed, especially at the edges (see the photos on this listing), but not split, with moderate handling soil and some small ink marks next to favorite cuts. It's been kept upright in my record cabinet since I purchased it in the 1960's; Lovely music, and a hard-to find record; I have several other Evans LP's I will be listing in the next few weeks.
Shipping: Shipped well packed with the LP separate from the cover. Domestic US Shipping by media mail. Priority rates available on request. International shipping will be expensive, since priority mail (or express mail) is the only option. I will set a flat rate for international shipping of $25.00.
