Absolutely gorgeous copy of the original 1955 first pressing of Bing's all-time classic holiday LP, Merry Christmas, on Decca DL-8128. Original mono pressing on the black and silver Decca star label, with the original back cover featuring Bing in a Santa hat. Very rare to find these early copies. And this one is truly beautiful. The disc is in very nearly perfect condition and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. There are one or two very light superficial sleeve scuffs but they do not affect the play at all. This is a beautiful playing copy. The cover is just beautiful as well, with no seam splits or much wear at all. It is even in the original plastic wrap from a store called the Hi-Fi Record Rack. It is opened and removable but this was the wrapping it was in when it was new. And it has protected the cover very well over the years, as it is almost immaculate. Also comes with a rare mid-50s Decca inner! This is a top original, hard to beat. Merry Christmas.
