Next year will mark the THIRTY year anniversary of the release of The Black Crowes' third studio album titled 'Amorica', (also called amorica.). When the album was released, stores said "no way"! I guess it's not polite to have body hair on your album cover. That photo was actually from a 'Hustler' magazine cover from July 1976, and the Independence Day issue (see pic for historical reference. Magazine not included!). It's the actual photo from the magazine!


So how did the band and record label "remedy" the situation? Remove the background, leaving only the flag (female) bikini bottom! In 2015, the album got remastered and reissued, in a few different formats. One was white vinyl, and there was also a standard black vinyl reissue, on 180 gram vinyl. This copy is the 180 gram vinyl! Oh, and the original, banned cover has been restored!


This beauty is STILL SEALED and NEVER OPENED or PLAYED! In its original factory shrinkwrap. The only flaw I can see is a corner of the sleeve that's slightly bent. About a couple of inches long. (See pic of that.) The rest of the sleeve looks great, and the insides will be mint! But wait! There's more....


I'll also add the (censored artwork) CD, so you can compare and contrast! This is in like new condition, and the disc is still all shiny and clean. A perfect conversation piece to go with the record! Also a great gift idea for fans of The Black Crowes, or people who are into 90s rock and blues rock. But you KNOW you can grab this for your very own, and add to that awesome vinyl collection that keeps growing, and growing, and growing....
