THE VINYL PLAYS BEAUTIFULLY THROUGHOUT - IT HAS BEEN VERY WELL LOOKED AFTER FROM NEW AND ALWAYS BEEN STORED UPRIGHT IN A PROPER LP STORAGE BOX.
IT IS OBVIOUSLY NOT 'MINT' AS HAS BEEN PLAYED BUT IS BETTER THAN EX+
THERE IS VIRTUALLY NO SPINDLE WEAR LABELS ARE CLEAN AND BRIGHT - NO WRITING THE VINYL RETAINS THE GLOSS SHEEN - NO SCRATCHES LIES FLAT ON THE TURNTABLE - NO WARPING
please see detailed photos
PLAYED, AFTER MANY YEARS WITHOUT ME OWNING A RECORD PLAYER, ON MY PRO-JECT TURNTABLE WITH ORTOFON STYLUS THERE IS BARELY A SINGLE AUDIBLE POP THAT WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN THERE WHEN THE RECORD WAS FIRST BOUGHT IN 1970
Having play tested as loud as I dare there is one single light pop and a couple of extremely faint crackles (static?) just as The Wizard starts - the rest of album is quiet in between tracks and on the quiet parts of the music
Sound is still incredible after all these years and the 'quiet and silent' parts are exactly how they should be with no pops, skips or jumps.
I would even say the vinyl would be a final 'upgrade' - you would find it very difficult to obtain a better copy unless you found the holy grail of a mint, sealed one
The gatefold sleeve is VG condition - spine is legible, no tears or bad creasing - normal age related stuff
Original inner bag with correct patent numbers - has a small rip in centre but is otherwise undamaged - see photos

RECORD COLLECTORS GRADING SYSTEM

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet. booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records marked as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable Good (G) Te record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges,
