Blistering avant-garde Black Muslim militant free-jazz by this Ohio group, out of Oberlin, on a Cleveland label – Cleveland had quite a thing going on, didn't it? What with the Ayler Brothers, Norman Howard, Abdul Wadud, et alia. & Joe Phillips made the great ESP record that never came out in the day, "Burn Baby Burn." Julius Hemphill was out there, then, too, at Oberlin. Wild. Something (flammable) in the water of the Cuyahoga...

Sura Al-Fatiha (Arabic: ????????), "The Opening," is the first chapter of the Muslim holy book, the Qur'an. Its seven verses are a prayer for God's guidance and stress the lordship and mercy of God. This chapter has a special role in traditional daily prayers, being recited at the start of each unit of prayer, or rak'ah.

LP is in excellent near-mint condition, very clean and quiet. Sleeve has minor ring and edge wear but no splits.
